The hotel offered excellent value for the money. the staff at the reception desk was very attentive. - the hotel's central setting was convenient. - the quick-service food option at Chicken-House, located just 1 km away, was a nice touch.

Location just off a private beach and the near metro stations. Spacious unit with an old fashioned decor.

I had a short stay at this hotel in the French Colonial quarter in the heart Tunis. The hotel still has some of the charming ambiance of it's historic past. My room was spacious and clean with large windows overlooking the park. The staff were excellent throughout - helpful and pleasant and the Reception Manager was particularly helpful and kind when I arrived late and stressed after missing my connecting flight to Tunis. Good value for money.

Beautiful large rooms all new. Good breakfast buffet. Well organise service with professional staff. Nice large common balcony for breakfast and drinks.Close to Medina and Av. Habibi Bourguiba (5 mins walking).
Area gets a bit empty at night. Rooms noise isolation from other rooms was not very good.

The location is good - a 5 minute walk to the main avenue - and it seems that the entire hotel has been completely renovated. My room was large, and well-equipped. The terrace on the mezzanine level is really amazing, and they serve food late.
No irons available for guests, just an ironing service. When I called the night before my arrival to confirm my booking, I inquired about the price of a taxi to the hotel. The night manager assured me that it was no problem to have a taxi driver that he recommended waiting for me on my arrival "for a good price (30 dinars)". I should have done a little more research, but I discovered later that the rate he arranged for me was 10 times the standard fee for a taxi to the center! Before I knew he cheated me on the taxi, this same man offered to help me arrange an interpreter for a few of my meetings, and I could see the dollar signs in his eyes. He made a quick phone call to a friend, and told me that he arranged a translator for a "good price", but was adamant that I pay him in advance...without even asking what I needed from the interpreter or telling me about his qualifications. After this I spoke with a taxi driver about standard prices for taxis to/from the airport, and realized I had been cheated - so, needless to say, I didn't accept his offer for the interpreter. Even the taxi driver seemed shocked about the price I had paid. Other than this man, who seemed to always work the night shift, the staff was very attentive and kind. I would still recommend this hotel, as I generally enjoyed my stay and think the value is fair, but the man mentioned above really took away from an overall pleasant stay.

During our stay at the Majestic, we were impressed by the attentive service and excellent room quality. The staff treated us with utmost care, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast selection was varied and healthy, offering a great start to our day. We were pleased to find that our room was shielded from the noise of the busy street, providing a peaceful environment. The hotel building itself exuded a sense of aristocratic charm, giving us a glimpse into its rich history. I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience.

Very noisy place. The reservation has been confirmed by Booked.net but in hotel records were no records on booking. The staff was not able to issue the invoice. They explained it by some technical problem and promised to send me the bill via e-mail. So I paid without getting the bill. So far I haven't received the bill eventhough I remained them two times via e-mail. They even didn't answer.

I could choose the room I wanted to stay in. During Ramadhan, they bring the S7our (the before-dawn breakfast) till the door of your room 30 minutes before dawn. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They great you well, and know how to smile when serving you. It lets you feel at your ease.
I'm not a city guy, this hotel can't be more in the center of Tunis.
